Video Audition Submission Directions:

  • You will need to prepare 1-3 minutes of a song that best fits your voice and highlights your talent. Ideally, we’d like you to pick a song from Seussical Jr., but if you must pick a song outside of the show, it MUST be a musical theater song.

    • Musical theater song examples: Under the Sea, Reflection, Be Our Guest are just a few examples of musical theater songs.) You need to play the instrumental or karaoke version (which many can be found on YouTube) while your child is singing their song.

    • If you can’t find any song that works, please have your child sing Row Row Row Your Boat or Twinkle Little Star.

    • We will not be doing monologues for this show, since this show is mostly singing and (and dancing!) We hope when you perform your song for us, you will show us your best acting skills through the song.

    • You do not HAVE to memorize your song, but this definitely helps when casting and deciding on characters! What's most important is you show up and try your best!

  • Record the song and email the video to anne@deltaperformingartsacademy.com
